Map of the grounds
Our own illustrated guide to the National Exhibition Centre. Find a zone number on the map, then tap it in the list below for a quick description. On a small screen, swipe sideways to see the whole map.
Not to scale. Simplified from the official GuyExpo site plan; check signage on the day.
Zone guide
1Auditorium 1
Local businesses, manufacturers and service providers, in the long diagonal building at the centre-left of the grounds.
2Auditorium 2
More local businesses, manufacturers and services, in the top-right corner of the grounds.
3MINTIC Pavilion
The Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce’s own pavilion, just right of the fountain plaza.
4International Pavilion
Overseas exhibitors, next to the MINTIC Pavilion.
5Amerindian Village
Indigenous culture, craft and community, on the middle-left of the grounds near the Dennis Street side.
6Tourism Village
Tourism and hospitality, on the right side below Auditorium 2. A great place to plan trips around Guyana.
7Main Stage and Entertainment Area
Top-centre of the grounds. The nightly line-up hasn’t been announced yet.
8Primary Food Court
The main food court, just below the stage area, so you can eat and still catch the show.
9Secondary Food Court
A second food court beside the entertainment area. Handy when the main one is busy.
10Fountain Plaza
The circular plaza in the middle of the grounds. Easy to find, which makes it a good meeting point for your group.
11General Parking
Three parking blocks just inside the Eastern Highway, reached from the two vehicle entries. Parking fee not yet announced.
12Children’s Fun Park
Expanded this year with bouncy castles, trampolines, games, seating and a big screen. Location on the grounds to be confirmed.
Also on the grounds: the SBB Pavilion for small business and innovation, the GMSA area and custom pavilions, a small Games Area near the centre parking, a banks kiosk near Auditorium 1, an on-site police outpost, and marked muster points with an evacuation route. Follow the signs on the day for exact spots.
Plan your visit day by day
Daily schedules haven’t been released, so these are suggestions built around the zones, not official programmes.
Thursday 12 Nov
Opening day
The opening ceremony time is not yet announced (for reference, the 2025 opening was Thursday at 5:30pm). Arrive early, start with the MINTIC Pavilion to get a feel for this year’s theme, then walk Auditorium 1 and Auditorium 2 before the evening crowds build.
Friday 13 Nov
Business focus
A good day for entrepreneurs. Visit the SBB Pavilion for small business and innovation, the International Pavilion for overseas exhibitors, and ask about the Small Business Grants Programme, the Loan Guarantee Programme and the new Guyana Development Bank. BizLink, the B2B forum linking entrepreneurs with investors, banks and agencies, returns for a second edition; its date is TBC.
Sat 14 and Sun 15 Nov
Family days
Bring the children for the expanded Fun Park, then explore the Amerindian Village and the Tourism Village together. Eat at the food courts and stay for the Main Stage. Hours aren’t announced yet; in 2025 the weekend gates opened at 2pm and stayed open to midnight.
What’s on show this year
Exhibitors span manufacturing, services, agriculture, agro-processing, construction, mining, forestry, fisheries, oil and gas, ICT, and tourism and hospitality, with extra emphasis on the Orange Economy: Guyana’s creative industries.
Budget it
Tickets are charged per person, per entry, so if you come back on another day you’ll pay again.
| Group | Tickets per visit |
|---|---|
| 1 adult | G$1,000 |
| 2 adults | G$2,000 |
| 2 adults + 2 children | G$3,000 |
| 2 adults + 3 children | G$3,500 |
| School group of 10 children | G$5,000 + G$1,000 per adult |
| Parking | TBC |
For reference only: parking in 2024 was G$1,000 per vehicle. Set aside extra for food, drinks and anything you buy from exhibitors.
What to eat
Primary Food Court (zone 8)
The main place to eat, just below the stage area. It’s the natural spot to grab a plate before the evening entertainment.
Secondary Food Court (zone 9)
Beside the entertainment area. Try it when the lines at the main court get long.
What to look for
Vendors haven’t been announced, but these Guyanese favourites usually turn up at big local events:

Getting there and parking
On foot
Use the Main Entrance on the Eastern Highway.
Driving in
Two vehicle entry points on the Eastern Highway lead to general parking inside the grounds.
Driving out
Exit to the Eastern Highway or to Dennis Street.
- Arrive early. GuyExpo 2024 drew more than 100,000 visitors over four days, so parking and gates get busy, especially in the evenings.
- Carry cash. Small notes make tickets, food and vendor purchases quicker.
- Stay hydrated. Bring water and take breaks in the shade between halls.
- Pick a meeting point. The Fountain Plaza (zone 10) is central and easy to describe.
⏳ Traffic advisories will be added here once road, parking and shuttle plans are announced.
Skip the parking stress

Tourism Village spotlight
The Tourism Village (zone 6) is where Guyana shows off its hospitality, and it’s the perfect place to start planning what comes after the expo. If it sparks some ideas, these guides will help you explore further.
First-timer tips for diaspora and Caribbean visitors
- Bring Guyana dollars. Prices here are in G$. The site plan shows a banks kiosk near Auditorium 1, but it’s easier to arrive with cash.
- Remember tickets are per entry. Planning two evenings? Budget for two sets of tickets.
- Expect big crowds. More than 100,000 people came in 2024, with about 265 exhibitors. Weekday daytimes are usually calmer than weekend nights.
- Dress for the heat. Light clothes, comfortable shoes and a refillable water bottle will keep you going between halls.
- Sort your ride home first. If you’re staying in town or flying in, arrange transport in advance so you aren’t hunting for a car late at night.
- Ask before you take photos in the Amerindian Village, and take time to talk with the makers.
- Make a trip of it. Pair GuyExpo with a day out to Kaieteur Falls or a weekend on the Essequibo while you’re here.
