Who is Skillibeng?
Skillibeng, born Emwah Warmington, is a dancehall artist from Portland, Jamaica. He broke through with a rapid-fire, hard-edged delivery that made him one of the most talked-about Jamaican artists of the 2020s, and his reach now stretches well beyond the island, with collaborations alongside Nicki Minaj and YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

The vibe
As the title says, this one is about the dance itself: the session, the speaker boxes and the crowd that comes to move. It is a return to the floor rather than a step toward the charts, and that gives it a looser, more playful feel than some of Skillibeng’s harder records. The production is lean and rhythmic, giving his flow room to bounce, and the hook is short enough to catch on the first play. For anyone who grew up on street dances, it feels like a nod to where dancehall lives. For newer fans, it is an easy way into his sound.
